Technology is now integrated in every aspect of our society! This is what we often hear, however from its foundation, Stand 21 has always considered technology as a vital part of its business philosophy. Racing drivers are
often amazed to discover that a good racing suit can be more than a basic fire protection apparel, or that a properly engineered pair of gloves can provide them victory on the racing track.
Nearly ten years have passed since the Stand 21 “Heat Stress” program was initiated, introducing advanced technology and engineering in products that provide not only the most advanced protection but allowing the drivers to reach their optimum racing potential.
This Heat Stress program initiated the convergence between the product manufacturers and the scientific, research and medical authorities.
2011 marks the creation of “Racing Goes Safer”, a foundation I have always dreamt. It is dedicated to the research on improving the safety of auto racing and the publication of its results, to bring awareness of safety issues, and solutions to the forefront of the motorsports world.
Today, such forward thinking ought to be reflected everywhere within the motorsport worldsports that will, in our opinion accomplish our mission of making motorsports racing safer.
