HANS®

THE HANS® REVOLUTION
Virtually unknown on the tracks 10 years ago, HANS® became in nowadays a featured basic safety gear for the race car driver just like a
helmet or the fire proof suit.
This is the results of the many serious
injuries avoided and lives saved by HANS®.
With its unmatched service track scheduled year around on the tracks all over the world, Stand 21 with its highly trained teams had for many years perfectly fitted the appropriate HANS® model with numerous racers.
Unquestionably Stand 21 was and still is a predominant contributor in the popularization of the HANS® product.
That is why today, Stand 21 offers to
the race car driver an exclusive and unique
HANS®’ model lineup worldwide!

Wearing a head restraint device approved by the FIA is mandatory for all drivers and co-drivers in international events. Notice for 2011, check with the
Federation, sanctioning body that oversees your Championship:
the decisions to make HANS® mandatory are sometimes taken without advance
warning. In any cases it is not advisable for your safety and your comfort to wear and install a HANS® at the last minute or in very short time, especially without the assistance of HANS® professional.

WHAT IS THE HANS®?
The HANS® System is the greatest safety
innovation since the full-face helmet and the
fireproof racing suit.
It reduced by 80% the risk of basilar skull
ruptures or muscle elongation in a sharp
deceleration (first cause of death in motor
racing).
Each day, testimonies from around the world
at all levels of motorsport highlight its
effectiveness and attest its use.
The evidence of drivers’ awareness: 2 out
of 3 buy a HANS® System whereas it is not
compulsory in their series yet.
This system can also be used with an open-face helmet much more safely.
